This session will explore the full potential of the blue economy and how the private sector can support in mobilising greater climate financing linked to ocean action, gathering industry leaders, the finance community, development banks, governments and other high level ocean stakeholders. The second segment of this conversation will be an opportunity to provide a platform for dialogue on the importance of nature-based solutions, discussing the status of progress on mangroves conservation and emerging solutions including the seaweed revolution with potential to address multiple crises (climate, biodiversity loss, plastic pollution amongst others) and, at the same time, inspiring action by other governments and global corporations.
