The Ghaf Tree - A National Symbol of Environmental Treasure
The platform sheds light on Ghaf tree as an environmental treasure and a national symbol. A special study in Arabic and English highlights the tree’s importance to the environment, climate, its significance to the people of the UAE since ancient times, the state’s efforts to protect it, and other specific information about it, To introduce visitors to the history and importance of Ghaf, we have planted one in the middle of our space in Cop 28, and essential information about it was displayed in both English and Arabic. Also we have included a digital library containing publications from our center, as well as a mini exhibition showcasing historical documents about the country’s history and images of significant traditional events.
