Humanitarian actors, UN Women, OCHA, WFP, WPHF, UNFPA, OFPRC and FAO, alongside local women’s organizations will discuss promising practices as well as challenges that the humanitarian sector faces in reducing risks and responding to women and girls’ needs in climate-induced crises across sectors. The event also aims to explore opportunities to scale up the efforts, partnerships, and financing in particular with and for women’s organizations to further support affected and at risk women and girls and affected populations more broadly.
