MULTILEVEL ACTION, URBANIZATION, AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT TRANSPORT

The Global Sustainable Aviation Forum

Organizers: Air Transport Action Group (ATAG)

The air transport sector has a history of working in partnership to help drive change whilst connecting people, economies and communities. The Global Sustainable Aviation Forum at COP28 will bring together representatives from airlines, airports, air traffic management and the civil aerospace sector to explore how it can meet its challenging goal of net zero carbon by 2050. New technology, improvements in efficiency and, importantly, the energy transition away from fossil fuels will help drive decarbonisation. It will highlight how partnerships will be needed with governments, the finance sector and energy industry working alongside aviation experts, academic and research institutions to support this effort.
