How Can Women and Young MPs Make the Difference in Climate Governance?

Organizers: Federal National Council (FNC) and Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU)

A convening of over 140 national parliamentary bodies to discuss parliamentarian role in climate action. This includes multilateral meetings of sub-committees related to environment and energy in addition to other relevant sub-themes such as food security and climate-related legislation.
Additionally, the meeting will amplify the “Parliaments for the Planet” campaign which was launched by IPU in March 2023.
This event will culminate with an outcome document that will be presented in the closing of COP28.
