Towards climate-resilient and sustainable health systems in the MENA region

The MENA region has made significant progress in developing climate-resilient and sustainable health systems in the last year, as both climate impacts and benefits from action have increased. The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and the World Health Organization's Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (WHO EMRO) will host governments, private sector partners and other stakeholders from across the region to report on progress and introduce plans and commitments on climate and health. The event will also strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration and foster a unified approach to building a future where health systems are resilient to the impacts of climate change.
