Arab Women Leaders’ Summit in collaboration with WISER

The Summit seeks to explore the critical relationship between gender equality and climate action. It aims to bring together stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, including researchers, activists, policymakers, and representatives from civil society organizations, to discuss the intersectionality of gender and climate change.

By addressing this intersection, the Summit aims to identify challenges, share best practices, and develop strategies to promote gender equality in climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resilience efforts.

Participants will work together to develop actionable recommendations and initiatives that integrate gender equality into climate change agendas, fostering a more inclusive, equitable, and resilient future for all.

WORLD CLIMATE ACTION SUMMIT

The World Climate Action Summit convenes heads of state and government, alongside leaders from civil society, business, youth, Indigenous Peoples’ organizations, frontline communities, science, and other sectors to discuss concrete actions and plans aimed at scaling climate action. The summit serves as an important platform for major announcements and is intended to provide momentum and guidance to the remainder of the COP.
